All though the teeth are no longer what they used to be a nice big bone on the back lawn at Waihi beach after a walk on the beach is close to heaven for Nandy.
For us it was nice to have a house with a proper lounge and a fireplace and it was not even that cold be we still lit the fire and put some pretty Lillies, we bought direct from a glass house in kati-Kati on the table, and enjoyed the sea air.

Nandy and I spend quite some hours on the couch reading and relaxing, especially good for my hand as i had slipped in the shower in the camping at home and broken a bone in my hand.
This year the Wearable Arts competitions were held for the first time in the new Rotorua Event Centre, and it was grand. Katherine entered in the Individual Category with a costume called Ms Fix-it, made out off flouriscent colours and tools pincehed out off poppas, marks and Dads workshops.
Katherine came third in her category and first in the Fuji colour category. It was hard work making the dress, video clip and music and ofcourse modelling the dress however with the help of her mom Katherine did really well.
Christopher played soccer for the East Lake Devils and with coach Jimmy and trainer Eddie the Team did really well and came second, only just beaten by Tauranger.
Christopher, throwing in the ball from the sideline, with lots of strength, he plays a mean defender.
At the end of the month the BrightEconomy, on which i am a serving member, held a day for the public, briefing on our accomplishments from the last 12 months, what we are currently working on and will be working on in the next 12 months. The topic was the game breakers with marketing of Rotorua and resource consents being highlighted. The Forum was also held in the Rotorua Event Centre and all though very different set out from the wearable Arts again a great Venue.
